lyrics
It's hard to hear the doomsday predictions
When the telephone in the corner is crying
And the atmosphere is on fire
Cancer is down, Sagittarius is on the rise
Aeries is on the rise
At the end of the day it's just me and my shadow
I watch it disappear
Behind the curtain of night
Where the new and the long lost lovers
Write poetry beneath the covers
Where the last of the chivalrous pantomime players
Stitch together pierced hearts in silence
And slowly silence the naysayers
Pull the blankets close when it gets cold
Watch your thoughts all disappear
Behind the curtain of night
Give unto me mascara and eyeliner
Bathed in the cool waters of your eyes
For to anoint my proselyte fingers
Tryin' to draw blood
Tryin' to cheat time
You and me baby watch the hours disappear
Behind the curtain of night

Opener absolutely rips. Falls into the ranks of tracks like “Dance” by ESG, “Eisbaer” by Grauzone, “Damaged Goods” by Gang of Four or like the album description says Kleenex. This is some really good stuff. Favorite song is the opener but dedicate “Blue” to my friend Blue who lost her life at 22, she would have loved this album. TheBloodofChrist
